In the following article, I will tell you about my experience with rocketry in my sixth grade class. How I watched the other kids learn about rockets and learned some things as well. How I built and painted a rocket with someone that was not related to me. Last but definitely not least, the look on the other kids faces when the rockets launched on launch day.
April 4, 2015 – Snow Ranch
Busy day for the last Snow Ranch launch of the season. By all accounts, it was a blast!
We had a good solid launch with lots of youth groups (mostly Scouts and 4H). We had a couple of holds for aircraft, but the tower made up for it by letting us clear all of the rockets on the racks at 1 PM (our normal stop time) and the racks were pretty much completely full.
